iOS 12.2 Jailbreak, Battery issue, downgrade and many other things…
I personally installed iOS 12.2 to my iPhone X and found some interesting features and checked the ability to jailbreak iPhone X running iOS 12.2 beta 2.
Right now, I’m on iOS 12.2 beta 2 and I’ve noticed that auto correct bug was fixed with iOS 12.2 beta 2. Additionally, Apple has silently pushed Apple Pay Cash beta to the iPhone X.
If you’re early adopter of iOS 12.2 like me, you would need to downgrade iOS 12.2 anytime soon when you don’t like or facing minor bugs due to its still in beta.
While testing iOS 12.2 beta 2, I’ve verified that does jailbreak iOS 12.2 work or not. To check this, I had to collect a lot of information from PanGu, Luca and Keen Jailbreak teams. Cydia is fully compatible with iOS 12.2 as it has been updated to iOS 11 recently by Saurik.
Till now, I haven’t faced any major battery issue with iOS 12.2. My iPhone X can be used moderately till four days with the update. However, iPhone X has passed only two days on this update so far. I’m testing battery life little more and would report on it.
Just two days ago, iOS 12.2 beta 2 was released with two major things. Keyboard bug was serious because it was annoying and the second one was not a bug, but it was a feature called Apple Pay Cash.
Still there are a lot of things to be remaining to test. Once I’d complete those testing, I’d create a detailed report on iOS 12.2 speed test over iOS 11.1, downgrade possibilities for iOS 12.2 to iOS 11.1 and iOS 10.3.3 using Prometheus.
Meanwhile, you can comment below and tell me, what do you expect from iOS 12.2 final version if you’ve iPhone X and suppose if you’ve iPhone 8 or any older iPhone model. Comment section is below and you can make a comment without creating any account.
