How to Create Nested Folders on iPhone running on iOS 10.2 or iOS 9.4
I’ve seen number of iPhone users who face difficulties creating nested folder. If you’re one of them, this article can be really good time to learn something that you always trying to learn.
Officially Apple doesn’t allow iPhone and iPad users to create nested folders and therefore we need to make many adjustment creating nested folders discovering glitch or bug from every new firmware.
In simple words, the user creates folders inside folder is called nested folders. Doing this, you can add multiple folders in one and saves valuable time navigating them across your device.
This is handy sometime specially when you wanna hide iPhone apps from your home screen. In such case, all the apps which you wanna hide, add those apps into a nested folder and they’d be hide from your home screen or springboard.
Personally, I don’t like to see unused application icons on the home screen. I want clean and neat desktop and smartphone. So, I create nested folders inside a folder and add all those annoying apps to hide them into a nested folder.
It can be easily done after installing Cydia tweaks, but as I’m on iOS 10.2, there isn’t jailbreak iOS 10.2 available and thus no chance to use Cydia apps for creating nested folders.
But still you can create nested folder as there is a glitch on iOS 10.2 and it would be on iOS 9.4 as well as on iOS 10.2 of course if the same OS would be continued on next firmware that allows user to create as many nested folders as user can.
If you wanna create nested folders, go to any folder and in toggle mode start tapping in a folder in which you’re in and it may ask you to create another folder. This could be really easy, but it’s really tough to explain in words.
